Anyone come across an issue like this? Oily residue under the bumper on the passenger rear side. Don’t see any drips on the concrete. It almost seems like it’s coming from under the bumper/bed area, not a drive unit. Only incidentally noticed it yesterday morning.

A friend said it could be shock fluid. That she has had a fitting leak on the driver side, and it was a similar pattern. They ended up replacing the whole shock, not just the fitting.

Service is scheduled soon to investigate. But no warning lights or noticeable problems driving, adjusting ride height, etc. I had a drive unit leak once that caused a different pattern of fluid loss.

I rarely get any issues with my R1S, so I'm not entirely too worried about this. I just want to be careful to avoid any serious damage that'd make my R1S stay at the SC for a long period of time.

My instincts are telling me it's not a serious problem and something that could be resolved in a day because I haven't experienced any issue while driving. Hopefully my instincts will be right, so for now I'll keep my fingers crossed.
