Earlier this week I washed my R1S and used 3D Bug Remover. I have had great results with this product until this wash. The issue was not with the paint on my R1S, but rather the crossbars.

I had a ton of bugs on the grill and noticed a fair amount on the front crossbar too. After hitting all relevant concentrations of bug, I finished my wash and upon drying the vehicle I noticed staining on the aluminum crossbars. So far I have tried:

- Vinegar & Water solution
- Straight cleaning Vinegar
- Lemon + Salt salve
- Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish

Some people might say it's not a big deal but I'm someone who pays a lot of attention to details and this is a detail that I certainly don't like. Also, the fact that it's noticable too is something that doesn't sit well with me and that's why I'm looking for a solution for it. I don't want to end up getting new crossbars cause of this issue and I really hope it doesn't get to that point. Anyone have any detailing or pro tips to help remedy this?
