I haven't really been a big fan of the basic bedliner. So I bought a 5x7 mat from Black Armour and cut-to-fit the R1T bed. Included link to mat and Sketchup file for the custom cut dimensions.
It's super easy to customize. You can make use of a carpet knife to cut the rubber, use a straight edge, take your time & don't lose a finger! The fit is tight, an 1/8" inch either way can make all the difference, but we aren't building the space shuttle haha.
So try to cut to the dimensions but don't get too caught up being perfect. You may have to trim here or there. For the cost range, it's quite affordable. It costs about $150.
