I've come across some owners who have complained about hearing a whistling sound from their crossbars and I've experienced such too. So I just wanted to share a simple fix that I saw.

A fellow R1S owner has had a whistling sound between 45-60 MPH that seemed to be coming from the rear passenger door. The door was misaligned and rivian fixed it, but the whistling persisted.

He then came across a post on Reddit that said the whistling he heard as well stopped when he placed painters tape over the leading strut edges of the cargo cross bars where there is a seam.

So he took off his cross bars and went for a drive. To his surprise, whistle was gone. Put crossbars back on, -went for another drive and the whistle returned

So he put electrical tape on the leading edge seam of his crossbars as pictured below, he went for a drive and whistle has been gone since.

The electrical tape is barely noticible, at some point you may just try to fill the front seam with clear silicone. I really can't believe this actually worked. I've followed this procedure and used it to get mine fixed as well. I hope this helps someone else. It's not my idea but I'm more than happy passing it along.
