I carried out a little DIY wash day for my R1S last weekend, with the help of the kids for sure lol. So it's been a while since I’ve had to use a step-stool to wash a roof and it's no surprise that the Compass Yellow hides dirt pretty well - however it was very obvious how dirty she was. I started off by scrubbing the wheels and running boards and then of course it was then necessary to clean all the glass and follow-up with a RainX treatment. I used the pressure washer and foam cannon to apply - a couple buckets and mitts to wash/scrub (taking extra care around my vinyl accents didn’t want to peel them off) - pressure washer to rinse and get all to soap out of nooks and crannies - used last of the clean bucket (later turned soapy) to use my wheel brush to clean both the wheels/tires and running boards - finished off with my leaf blower to get as much water off as possible. Overall, it was a pretty fun day.

Hi my name is Justin. I live in the Phoenix area and picked up an 2024 R1T Limestone dual-motor a few months ago. I traded in my 2017 Subaru Forester that I used for off-loading and overloading. This is my first all electric vehicle and truck, so it's a lot of new for me but I'm loving it so far. I'll mostly use the R1T for commuting to work, local adventures and the seldom longer road trips.
