2025 R1S DMPL
Ok guys, the R1S is back from the tire shop, and it looks amazing. We went with the Lock Off-Road 20x9 Matrix wheels in a 0 offset, and the stance couldn’t be better—seriously, it’s spot on for an aggressive offroad appearance. The poke is literally perfect for this vehicle.

I’ll dive deeper into some follow-up posts to cover:
  • Tire fitment with 0 offset wheels: It’s a close call, but I’ll break it down.
  • Tire Size: 275/65R20 (factory tire size)
  • Poke: How far the tires sit past the fenders.
  • Clearance: What it looks like in the wheel wells.
  • Ride height: How the wheels sit at low, medium, and high settings.
First impressions? The stance is absolutely dialed, and these wheels are perfect for the Rivian. They’re the ideal blend of off-road ruggedness and high-end luxury. Stay tuned for all the details!

Finally got out for a little photoshoot. These wheels look so good on the R1S. Stance is also perfect. I do have a slight rattle in the steering wheel above 75MPH so I am currently looking for some hub-centric rings to match up the Lock Off-Road Wheels center bore and the Rivian hub. The Lock wheels have an 87.1 center bore and the R1S has a 64.1 hub so I need a 87.1 to 64.1 hub ring. I reached out to a few companies that make custom hub centric rings so we'll see if they get back.

Very nice! Have the road manners changed at all with the improved stance? Any issues with the computer and the new wheels/tires?

Road manners are good but I do have a slight steering wheel shake above 75mph. It still drives the same though. It drives great. Just need the hub-centric rings and we should be good. No issues with the computer at all.
