It was my first time seeing the R1S Ocean Blue and what a beauty it was to behold! I won't lie, I felt slightly jealous and thought about getting a new custom Ocean Blue wrap, that's if I could haha.
I had the opportunity to have a little chat with the owner and he didn't hesitate to tlhype up his SUV and tell me about all the stares he receives regularly while driving.
While his R1S looks good with a black roof, he wasn't thrilled with manufacturers these days using piano black everywhere. More and more models are having less paint and more piano black. According to him, he wants Rivian to bring back some color.
Everything is wrapped in KPMF excelsior blue. It’s a very dynamic color and surprisingly, it hasn’t been in the sun yet. And, personally, the blue Rivian should have been used for the Ocean Blue.
