Unfortunate incident this past weekend that involved a piece of metal scratching up the black panel above the rear window.
Nothing awful / all cosmetic so debating just applying some touch-up paint & moving along since it's not much of a big deal at the end of the day, but bothers me a little bit just knowing.
Someone suggested I lead with some acetone (or usually some gasoline) to get rid of the marks created by paint transfer. Said I'd be surprised how much that makes things go away.
The metal was painted so I do believe some of that is likely transfer (it sort of slid / rolled across the impacted area which is why there are numerous streaks).
Not inclined to spend so much on this since it's really minor (and even more so in person than vs. the picture highlighting it) so will probably start there with the advise of acetone or gasoline, then apply a little touch-up pant and move along.
