I recently received the dreaded Service Suspension Soon/perimeter sensor warnings. After a car wash, they would flash on for like 3 seconds, turn off, then repeat a few times during the ride home. 2 days ago, they stayed on after about the third flash. A sleep cycle clears it but it inevitably returned. Luckily, there is no turtle mode with it, which made me suspect wiring and not true suspension issues.

Tried looking it up online and I couldn't find any pictures or description of the connectors to check. So naturally, this riviot climbed under a 5000lb SUV showing suspension errors and started poking around. Once I figured out how to remove them gently, I tested my theory by asking my husband to check the driver display (no issues), I pulled a plug (errors popped!), and then reseated (errors gone).

Each strut has 3 connectors, with one of the rear further up and harder to reach. All of mine were caked in dry mud, pine needles, and all other sorts of detritus. My husband pulled them all, cleaned, and went for a drive to do errands. Sure enough it returned.

Coming home with the error, my husband asked me to monitor the driver display while he jiggled each connector. Turns out it was from the passenger front. We popped and reseated, no issues, so he covered it with electrical tape and tried to rig it to stay secure.
