Last weekend, one of my friend had a crossbar accident at his home. He wanted to back out of his garage and totally forgot that he had a strap tied to one of his crossbars that was hanging over the truck. Got caught under the wheel and ripped the end of the crossbar right out, also dented the side of the truck as it came off.
His PPF protected the paint, at least. He was hoping it might be something paintless dent repair could fix.
He reached out to John from H&H Paintless Dent Repair and the did wonders repairing the dent, at a very reasonable price, and very quickly!
Unfortunately, the repair necessitated removing a section of the PPF around the dent, so he'll have a seam in the PPF on that side of the truck, but the installer assured him that it will only be minimally visible.
