I don't know about everyone else but one of the main reasons why I would jump from my current R1T to an R2 is by way of a tri-motor version. I want to keep the 800+ HP I currently have and the estimates I've seen for the upcoming tri-motor R2 should be somewhere in that range.

However at this moment, I have just very little information on the tri-motor R2. Rivian itself has to figure out the final production specs for this R2 version (if they haven't already)

Nonetheless, I thought it would be good to have an official Tri-motor R2 thread for those expecting to purchase this trim level of the R2. I don't care to hear the dribble about the single or dual motor R2's. That's been beat to death by others. I already know the cheapest version will start somewhere around 45K. Also, I know the R3 will be powerful and a very exciting car in it's own right. But I only want this thread to focus on the R2-Tri.

At this point it's very early and it's speculation. But it's reasonably fun to have a space to focus on the following as we get closer to 2026:

• What will a tri-motor R2 cost?

• How much range do you feel we can realistically expect from a tri-motor R2?

• When will it be available?

• Colors?....will it mimic the current tri-motor R1S lineup?

Interested to hear how many are targeting the tri-motor.
