So I've lately realized something truly awesome: I could use the spare tire compartment for more than just keeping a spare tire! In case you're wondering where the spare tire compartment is located, it's located in the rear bin under the truck bed.
The spare tire compartment comes with a drain plug, and with that alone, it could be used to store drinks for a camping trip. Ice could be added as well, and the water can easily be drained out. The plastic divider pieces, though creatively designed, take on water if they're more than a few inches deep. Nothing that a carefully placed 1/4" drill bit can't fix.
P.S. It takes <30 seconds to drain 6 bags worth of ice...water.
