I was at Kentucky last Friday and decided to pay my friend who lives there a visit. He happens to drive a Rivian R1T as well. So on Saturday, my buddy and I took his R1T and his friends R1T as well, and we went down to the Wildcat Off Road Park on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Eastern KY.
He and his friend has done plenty of wheeling in KY, TN and CO- but this was their first experience using their Rivian’s as we wanted to see what the trucks could - or more specifically shouldn't - do.
All I can say is what an incredible machine. Aside from a ridiculous off camber spot that would have thrown us into a cliff side, it tackled every single obstacle. Stair-steps, steep descents and climbs, deep soupy mud- all effortlessly- like a Billy goat. Here are some photos from our awesome trip.
