The other day, I got a new update and went for my first long drive 2 nights ago.
The first problem started about 30s into the second song, it just stopped playing while driving on my way out of town. Of course it was trying to stream the music but failed, after a couple minutes just skipped to the next song and it started playing. So yeah it's obvious but it's not going to work well with low LTE signal. Unlike my phone I don't think their is any way to have music stored locally.
The second issue I encountered wasn't really really due to Apple Music vs Bluetooth but after my first stop I jumped back into my R1S to head home and Apple Music was playing but no sound out of the speakers. I had to switch to a different media app and back until it started playing.
On the plus side, the music sounds great, just goes to show what I have been missing without Apple CarPlay all this time.
