Ever since I got my R1S, I've noticed that the battery range estimation hasn't been the best. Driving a Tesla for the last 3 years, it never had this kind of issue. During my last trip, the driver display shows 255mi remaining. My total trip (including 2 destinations) is 160mi so I believed I should be able to make it easily with a nice cushion. But the center display showed that I would arrive at first destination with 4mi remaining, and run out before the second destination! I knew this was false so I made the drive anyway, and arrived at second destination with 50mi remaining. If I understand correctly, the driver display range is simply the total rated range multiplied by SOC. That makes sense here, since my vehicle is rated for 370mi, 255mi is 68.9%. Coming from Tesla, I expect the number shown in the center display should account for factors like elevation, wind, traffic speed, etc. It's sad that my own mental estimation is better than Rivian's.

I'm looking for confirmation from other Gen 2 Premium Sound owners on whether or not the performance of my driver main door speakers are "normal". All I'm hearing from the main door speaker (one on the bottom) are low frequencies which essentially sounds like the speaker is being used as as subwoofer. There is no mid-range which is very different from the second row doors from the same speakers.

My vehicle is on software 2025.06 but this was similar before the update. Perhaps there is even more bass output now, but there was never any mid range output. I first put my ear near the bottom speaker in the rear left door which sounds about how I'd expect. I then put it next to the tweeter in the rear left door, also fine. Next, I listened close to the bottom speaker in the front door- only low end and no midrange.

Can anyone with Gen 2 premium audio confirm if this seems wrong? Btw, right side is similar. I'm thinking about booking a mobile service appointment that would be scheduled in a couple of weeks most likely. Dropping this here cause I feel it would be nice to know before then.
