Hey guys, so I'm dropping this topic on here cause I don't know if its just me or other owners have experienced such as well.
I noticed this about a month ago that there’s a clunk noise on the drivers side, and a bit louder outside than inside whenever I push the gas pedal. I don’t hear it while I’m driving with the pedal already down and I accelerate by pushing the gas pedal more . I also hear it when I take my foot off the gas pedal, this is most noticeable when I’m moving slowly, but it is also audible at high speeds.
Some days the clunk noises are very loud, say when I’m backing out of the driveway. I never heard it going over bumps. It is always related to the first push down of the gas pedal or the first push release of the gas pedal
It's a bit funny how it actually hasn't gotten worse over time. I've had hubs and shafts changed (shafts twice) and the washer treatment twice, still no difference. I've reached out to the SC twice and they say its normal. I've only heard one driver complain of this same issue and Rivian SC told him same thing they told me, that it was normal and he shouldn't worry about it. Makes me wonder what issues seem abnormal.
