A fellow club member recently shared his experience with removing door dings from his passenger side using a DIY PDR kit. He purchased the kit on Amazon for approximately $100 and watched a few YouTube videos to learn the process.
This is the link for the kit that he got on Amazon in case anyone might be interested.
The kit includes a hot glue gun with glue, as well as a heat gun to help remove the glue afterwards. To facilitate the process, he utilized the onboard outlet to power the glue gun and the torch to provide extra lighting for his work area.
After completing the repair, he reported that it worked great and he was able to successfully remove the dent on his first attempt. He is now waiting for touch-up paint to become available in stores to finish the job perfectly.
Hearing about these kind of experiences, made me realize how nice it is to have so many features of the truck, so close at hand, to help in situations such as this.
