DIY Windshield Film for Rivian: Good Alternative to Clearplex?

Last night, I found that my Rivian R1S driver’s side front door is missing a bolt in the upper hinge. I don’t know if it was never there or got lost after they fixed my door pocket and Bluetooth module at the shop 3 weeks ago. The door’s quiet now, but I want to replace the bolt to be safe. So I'm looking at what bilt size would fit that hinge. I looked at the passenger side hinge, and it’s solid, so I’ve got something to compare. I’m eager to get a new bolt in before the door starts making noises or worse. It’s fine for now, but I wouldn’t want to risk it.

After my Clearplex windshield film wore out in just three months, I’ve been searching for a better option for my Rivian R1S. I found a DIY windshield protection film online and reached out to two sellers who offer it for Rivian windshields. Has anyone tried this DIY windshield protection film? I asked ChatGPT and this was one of the two sellers for Rivian windshield.

This one sounds promising and is way cheaper than the $600 I paid for Clearplex. Has anyone tried this film yet? I’d love to hear if it holds up better. My last experience with Clearplex was a letdown and I had no idea it would last so little time.

Now I’m looking to replace it with something more durable and affordable. I haven't tried another protective film since Clearplex but this is looking like a good choice, especially since it even costs much lesser than the $600 I paid for a protective film that lasted just 3 months. I would love to know if anyone else has used this before or has a better option I could go for.
