I’ve been thinking about grabbing some full-size Sidio crates for organizing gear in my R1S frunk, so I did a quick test to see how they fit. The frunk’s curved shape had me a bit worried they might not sit right, but here’s what I found.

Two full-size Sidio crates with lids fit perfectly when placed lengthwise (long side front to back). They slide in easily and feel secure. But if you try placing them widthwise (short side front to back), the frunk lid won’t close. They’re just a tad too tall to clear the lid’s inner edge.

If you go for the half-size Sidio crates, you can fit two widthwise with no problem, and the lid closes fine. I’m leaning toward getting these crates for camping and outdoor trips since they’d keep everything tidy. Hope this helps anyone else planning their frunk setup. Let me know if you’ve tried this or have other storage tips.
