Before I got this, I had a couole of doubts about how well it would actually hold up in terms of friction. I had these doubts cause personally, I think "grippy" sounds like a fancy marketing term. Turns out I was pleasantly surprised. The surface has this subtle stickiness. It's not like glue, but enough to keep stuff from sliding around like it’s on an ice rink. I got it for the back of my Rivian R1T, and it fits like it was made for it. No awkward gaps or overhangs, just a clean, snug fit that looks intentional.

One thing to note: it arrives folded and rolled up tight, kind of like a yoga mat that’s been in storage for too long. At first, I was worried about the creases, but here’s a tip—install it on a warm, sunny day. The heat makes the material way more pliable, and it flattens out smoothly without much fuss. I tried laying it out indoors first, and it was stubborn, but once I took it outside on a 75-degree afternoon, it relaxed and settled in perfectly.

It’s been a few weeks now, and it’s holding up great. No curling edges, no weird wear spots, and it still keeps our gear from turning the cargo area into a pinata every time we hit a bumpy road. If you’re on the fence, I’d say it’s worth a shot—especially if you’re tired of chasing your groceries around the back of your truck.
