A friend who had his R1T delivered about 3 weeks ago, shared this trick he used to haul a long material with his R1T. He needed to haul some 10' conduit to his other house about 40 miles away for the wall charger install.
The charger had arrived, but not his cargo bars, so he had to improvise. With no driveshaft or exhaust system in the way he just used a rope between the front tow hooks and the trailer hitch.
Worked so well and I think a belly pod of some sort would be a handy accessory. So far, he's loving his LA Silver OC truck and has had no problems at all.
Wishing him all the best adventure experiences.
