For those who own an iKamper roof top tent, make sure you put the ladder feet bag on when the tent is stored. For long term storage I would recommend to remove the rainfly before storing it away. The rubber feet of the ladder somehow interacts with the vinyl ceiling window and degrades it. This caused a discoloration of the vinyl and it became brittle and cracked.

Another option is to get a cardboard sheet to place between the ladder feet and vinyl window.

I contacted iKamper and unfortunately Im out of warranty. But they were able to see me a replacement rainfly for $100 which I thought was a good deal. So the plan is to keep my original rainfly and tape the degraded parts and will use it for rainy nasty trips while my new one would be for summer use.
