A friend of mine in Santa Ana, CA recently sent me a photo of an R1T that is been used as a tow truck.
He spotted it at Home Depot while walking through the parking lot. It's a Local tow company that uses the R1T as their AAA service vehicle. And if you look closely, it's already taking a beating. (Gear Tunnel and rear passenger door)
Asked how often he's seen it in cation and he told me that he has seen it around town a few times since this initial spotting.
I believe if it wasn't a great vehicle for towing, it wouldn't be used for such a job. Goes to show how well the R1T performs when it comes to it's towing capacity, one of the best trucks out there.
