Almost 2 weeks ago, I ran over a knife in the road and punctured a tire and wheel well liner. So this is an article about the repair process and some photos to show the extent of the range done.

So Rivian came out to the house to replace the tire and wheel liner about two weeks after the incident. The repair was actually done over two visits because the wheel liner took a little longer to source.

The wheel was removed for tire replacement. And yes because I put Big Blue in max height as instructed for tire swap I added a reminder to lower her before attempting to back out of the garage.

A close up of the wheel liner with the yellow tireject solution sprayed along the wheel well liner. Until the tire sealed it sprayed a layer of this stuff over the wheel liner. It formed a little rubbery layer that would take a little effort to clean off (kind of peal off like a thin layer of glue) I didn't bother to clean it since I had the entire liner replaced.

Wheel Well surgery. A sneak peek of the stuff behind the wheel well liner. Notice the air compressor fittings in the lower right corner with one line going into the reservoir tank. Lastly, here's a photo of the wheel liner that was damaged.
