Driving southbound on 101 on February 8 at 9am, Joe (a club member) had Driver+ activated. A bit of clear skies that day and he was on the 2nd lane from left and at 9:15am approaching the overpass ahead, when all of a sudden he was swerving left and right almost hitting a vehicle on his right and another car on his left and found himself in the middle of the dash lines as he was trying to control the truck at 70mph. He only gained control after he stepped on the brake.

Following his narration of the incident, I realized that you can step on the brake to disengage Driver+. In normal circumstances, Driver+ disengages if you’re out of lane or force control of the steering wheel. But at the moment, I'm sure he was kind of confused and scared. Cause he'd have wrecked 2 other vehicles at that time if not for the brakes. I'm sure this would definitely come in handy if I happen to find myself in such a situation one day.

Initially he thought the camera got blinded by the sun and then suddenly it got dark as he passed under the overpass but after he reviewed the video, (it actually recorded it under Incidents), the dash lines were painted over the cracks or cement lines between 2 lanes and as it begins to split, the navigation confused the crack lines as the border of his lane and as it tried to center the truck in the middle of the “lane”, he ended up in the middle of the painted dash lines. Guess it was a slight software confusion and one that could have cost him a lot of damage.
