Rivian R1T Rear Dampener Replaced: Not My Best Rivian Experience

Just last month, I dropped off my R1T off at the service center for a winter tire replacement and the SC called back to say that I will need rear dampeners replaced on both sides. Unfortunately, I am at a total of 63k miles, which is past the warranty of 60k miles - passed last month. They quoted me for $4000 for replacement of both rear dampeners. So it left me wondering if I have any recourse, being so close to warranty or if I'm just SOL. The SC did reached out to the regional manager to see if it could be covered under warranty and was 'denied'. I won't lie, it was really frustrating since cause it didn't seem like an issue that was caused by anything I did. I looked up some online articles, hoping to see if anyone has had a similar issue and could provide some guidance but unfortunately, I couldn't see any helpful article online. Eventually, I paid the $4000 to have my truck fixed. It was painful having to spend such a huge amount but I felt like I was left with no choice. Not my best Rivian experience so far but I guess it's all part of the learning process. Was extremely busy that period so I couldn't take pictures of my R1T. I'll ask the SC centre if they took any photos of the truck and share them on my page.

I don't presume the bezel or whatever it would be called is a replaceable part on its own? Anyone know?

Noticed this earlier today that there's a ~1" scratch and another little chip a few inches from that. Can't imagine how it happened as I don't wear that much jewelry, have long fingernails, etc. Unfortunately I didn't notice if it was there yesterday.

While a very minor issue on such a main touchpoint and visually right in front of me now I cannot stop looking at it. My interior has always been something I rarely joke with and try my best to make sure it's always looking as good as it can be. So with this happening now, I'd have to look for a solution if probably I'll need a new steering wheel cover or to change the steering wheel completely. I'm hoping it won't be the later.
