For the last few weeks the ride height hydraulics system has not been operating properly. When putting the vehicle in gear, I receive the yellow alert "Your vehicle is raising. Wait before driving to prevent damage." However, nothing is happening.
The vehicle is not raising. The icon on the driver's display still indicates that the vehicle is in 'kneel' position. I then go to the main screen and attempt to change the ride height. I press the 'up' arrow to switch from 'kneel' to 'standard' height but it immediately reverts to 'kneel'. I press the 'up' button several more times until it finally settles on 'standard' height. Then the vehicle very slowly adjusts it's height. This whole process takes 2 minutes to complete.
Other times, when attempting to adjust ride height, the vehicle will get stuck in it's 'kneel' position (in which it is nearly undriveable), I'll receive the red alert to "Service suspension soon", and all the sensors go dead. I then have to do a full vehicle reboot to get it back to the two minute ride height adjustment routine. Sometimes this happens more than once a day. Sometimes it resolves itself with the reboot and sometimes it does not.
I've had it in to the service center aabout 2 weeks back. They've replaced the hydraulic pump and hydraulic lines as well as the front dampers. Now they're saying I've got rodent damage to the air lines at the rear of the vehicle and have to replace the entire bundle.
Has anyone else had recurring problems with their suspension systems? Or did I just get a dud?
