I have been seen a lot of folks get a 3D print for their center console and I knew I needed something like that as the aftermarket tray I wanted to get was kind of hard to get out and would cause me to spill stuff everywhere so I loathed needing to get to paperwork or anything in the bottom.
I received a 3D prototype but noticed the tray he sent had a single hole to feed charging cables up through which in my mind would be a pain to lift the tray out without dragging the cords with it.
I sent him a message and a quick photo of what I had in mind and within a day, he had worked up a prototype to send me. No charge and no pushback! What he sent works perfect and looks just like what I sketched!
I think he said he was going to offer an upgrade to the custom tray like the prototype he sent me. It works so perfectly to pull up and out while leaving everything plugged in.
