I haven't really had too many software issues since I got my Gen 2 R1S but recently, I noticed I could no longer receive instruction from app. Has anyone else had problems with the app controlling the vehicle settings? It doesn't seem to matter if I'm trying to lock/unlock, adjust charge limit, set climate, etc. I get a message that says "Couldn't turn on. Something went wrong. Try again later." when I try to set climate. Says "Couldn't lock" or "Couldn't Unlock" but the "Something went wrong. Try again later" part seems to be the same in all cases.
2 Iphones, with same results. I've tried deleting the app from the phone & reinstalling, no help. Mobile service tech was at my house earlier this week for tire rotation, inspection, etc. so I've been waiting for him to show up and resolve the app issue too. Unfortunately he was less than useful. Had not heard of this issue. When we first got the vehicle late last year, everything worked perfectly. I do not remember when this started to be a problem or which software update it started with. I really just assumed the next software update would resolve it.
I've also done full restart of the vehicle, and infotainment restarts multiple times. Occasionally my R1S does not recognize that it is at "home" even thought it's sitting in my garage. So it locks & unlocks every time i walk by with my phone. Full reboot fixes this location problem, but has not helped with the app issue.
If you guys have any bright ideas I'd love to hear them.
