I plan on creating several threads on hacks or tips for both new and experienced owners. There’s a lot to learn about our vehicles and for many, Rivian is their first EV.
So one of the tips I've learnt is to perform a regular full reset (long press of both hazard and left steering wheel outermost button) once in 2 weeks regardless on how my R1S is performing.
Rivians are software based vehicles. Other than the tires and windshield fluid, almost every function is controlled by the cpu. Just like it’s important to reset or shutdown your laptop at the end of the day, its important to reset your vehicle on a regular basis.
This would help for better function and performance. Also, it'd help to clear bugs and glitches that you might not be aware of. I hope this helps someone out there and over time, as I continue to enjoy driving my Rivian, I'll make sure to drop more hacks and tips for owners.
