So I got to test out the beta for ecoflow delta pro ultra and I know of someone that has been using it since last September. It’s an excellent product that provides backup function comparable to a power wall. You can see that ecoflow delta pro ultra can indeed be charged from the Rivian.

So here’s the caveat. If you are using a smart home panel 2, right now you cannot charge from Rivian and power your home at the same time because the AC is disabled while you are connected to the home panel.

However, if you are using a manual transfer switch, it would be possible to use the rivian AC output to charge the battery while you are plugged in a 14-30 cable.

Here’s the caveat. You must verify yourself that the input isnt from your hoke system (aka floating neutral). This is typical for a generator, and actually is the situation for the rivian.

So again, I am not an electrician nor am I your electrician, but it seems like to me that since rivian is a floating neutral inverter, you may use it to charge the DPU at a steady state while the DPU power your home and supplement high current draw devices with its inverter.

Even if you have the smart home panel, you can use the generator input from home panel (if installed) and just use 14-30 to input your DPU there.
