Hey all!
This is Tyler from Power Tank! We are a small family business based in the Sacramento Area of CA. Power Tank started in 1997 by my dad, Steve, before there were any good portable tire inflation products on the market. He put together a CO2 system from parts from a welding supply after ruining a set of brand new BFG mud tires from not being able to air himself up after a trail. He put an ad in a 4x4 magazine and it became a business!
Fast forward 25+ years and we have been constantly improving the Power Tank while also adding more products to our lineup. The Power Tank remains the fastest and most reliable way to air up after a day on the trail, especially when paired with Monster Valves which also allow rapid tire deflation. We make Shock Inflation tools used by professional race teams and rec wheelers alike. Our line of propane tank brackets and fire extinguisher brackets are lightweight and incredibly strong.
I know many of you already have built-in compressors so instead of trying to sell you something off the bat, I would rather learn about how you all air up and air down for off-roading. What are your typical street and trail pressures? Is the 20 ft hose included with the compressor kit long enough? Would you prefer to have a Tire Inflator tool with a gauge? We make everything in-house so we have the capability to make custom solutions to adapt to your existing equipment if we're aware of any pain points or annoyances.
