My friend who has had the Model Y for almost 2 years now before I intorduced him to Rivian last year. He eventually fell in love with the R1T, placed an order and picked up his R1T last Wednesday.
So he needed a hammock to carry his dogs in the back and he had the Tesla Model Y one. His plan is to sell the Model Y so he was hoping it would fit the R1T. Earlier this week, he checked it and it fits perfectly in the R1T.
He shared some photos with me and they looked great. Although the door protectors don’t fit though since they can’t properly fit in the window stripping. He might try to make an adapter that they can connect to that would fit, but it’s probably easier for him to just find another set that could work.
It’s a tight fit around the headrests, but they do go over them. I know there might be a few Tesla person's getting a Rivian, so I just wanted to let others know.
