Since I took delivery of my R1S (loving it so far), I do get a little frustrated as my phone slides all around the charging pad, starting and stopping the charging.
It's been going on for a while and I searched for solution on some Rivian pages, all to no avail. Been managing the situation for a while until I saw a YT video of someone who had a similar situation and how he was able to get it fixed.
So following his guidelines, here's how I fixed it. I placed a furniture pad underneath the doors for the center console. Yes, it's that simple! It holds the phone in place, and nobody can even see it!
This is more of a tip rather than a trick for anyone who's maybe experiencing such and has probably been frustrated a couple of times just like myself haha... It's a quick fix and one you don't need to visit a SC for. Hope someone out there finds this useful.
