A valet scuffed my friends rear bumper while we were out on Monday. it’s very minor but there’s a scuff/chipping in the chrome trim on the bumper. I actually told him to leave it like that but he said he'd like to touch it up.

Someone recommended that he tries Dr Colorchip. He'd need the black gloss for the front bumper lip but they didn't have it listed. Although he was able to quickly add it so he could order their product.

The fix is quite easy too. He was told that all he had to do was just to paint on some of the touchup paint, let it dry for a minute or two, then use the special solution and the cloth they supply to gently level the touchup to the surrounding paint. I think a DIY fix doesn't get easier than this. Too bad for him as he took the hit for the both of us to figure this out haha.

I hope someone out there finds this tip helpful.
