- R1S Rivian Blue

Recently, I’ve noticed my Rivian R1S is using energy much more efficiently since the weather warmed up in Vancouver. My driving habits, vehicle settings, and daily routes haven’t changed, yet for about a week, I’m seeing efficiency numbers in the low to mid 3s. My husband even mentioned seeing close to 4. Before this, over eight months of ownership, I never saw efficiency above 2.46. I drive in all-purpose mode, with standard suspension height and maximum regeneration.
Has anyone else experienced this? I haven’t calculated it manually yet, but it feels like the system’s calculations might have changed or there could be a glitch.
I’m curious if others have noticed similar improvements in their Rivian’s efficiency.
The sudden jump in numbers is surprising, especially since nothing about my driving or settings has changed. I’m wondering if warmer weather is making a difference or if there’s something else going on, like a software update affecting how efficiency is measured.
If you’ve seen this too, please share your thoughts. I’d love to know if this is a common experience or if I should dig deeper to check for a possible issue with my vehicle’s system.
