I recently got the idea of putting a window shield up in my vehicle when it's parked anywhere outside of my garage, and it has always kept the interior not only cooler but in perfect condition. At night, I put it up for privacy, and with tinted windows you can’t see anything (especially with BM interior). I’ve been using the Costco jumbo size shade for my R1T and it works fine.

The windshield shade fits great, but possibly more minor gaps compared to the oversize Costco shade. It fits much closer to the windshield and is significantly thicker, so I expect it will block out more heat.

The moonroof one also fits well with the supplied suction cups. It says to only use in a parked car, but I’m a risk taker haha. If you’re somewhere in the desert, tinting the moonroof might be a smart option as it does get a little warm in direct midday sun, but not unbearable here in FL. The company has shades available for every window in both Rivians, so give them a try if you’re looking for some shade in your new investment.
