I have previously used the streaming capability back when it first came out as well as the hotspot since before Connect+ was a thing. I am trying to get the streaming working again but it seems to have been hidden fully behind the paywall. (Not looking to argue the merits of that system here) I recall after Connect+ came out being able to still use the Hotspot while tethering with my phone, and losing it isn't a big deal other than needing to update my wife's wifi, but I think I remember needing to be on the Hotspot to do casting. My question is, did Rivian remove both of these features to fully behind the connect+ paywall? I thought that if you used phone tethering or if you were connected to WIFI you could use most all of the usual streaming like features of the Rivian? If anyone can recommend how to stream while using tethering I'm sure myself and others without Connect+ would appreciate it.

So I recently had a chance to see someone try out the YJGF back seat Extender for his dogs, and I will say it was absolutely worth it for running around with pups. For those unfamiliar with these, a platform extends out from the seat with load supported by the two clips around each headrest. It gives the pups a lot more room while still giving you the ability to store stuff under the extended platform (because if that is one thing the R1S is missing, it’s storage. /sarcasm).

For those wondering why this one is different than the others, well for one, it looks nicer than a plain black one (though that is an option). The saddle brown pleather accents are nice. The clasps around the head rests are metal which alleviates the concern of them easily breaking.

The ones around the rear seat are plastic but not load supporting. Additionally. The platform is decently padded, has a grippy texture on the bottom to stay pinned to the seat, and - a must imho - has zippered sides to help protect the doors and contain some of the hair. Plus when unzipped like in the first picture it helps protect the seat which would be great for someone like myself when my less than coordinated dogs jump up onto the seat haha.

Some strong Velcro on the rear, lower seam allows for pass through dog seat belts and it has a nice carrying case to store the whole thing in. Fits nicely when set up in the back, and the whole thing folds up and fits neatly in the frunk. A really great accessory for dog owners to have installed in their vehicle.
