Last Saturday made it 2 years and 6 months since I have been behind the wheel of my R1T and 65,000 miles in total. The truck has been a pure joy to drive both during my daily commutes, off-roading, weekend trips, and just running around town.

I have had no major issues that left me stranded. A few bugs, was all. My power tonneau cover still works just fine. (just jinx'd myself)

Overall, my experience with Rivian Service has been a pleasant one. My first three visits to the SC were one early on for my post-delivery checklist of minor cosmetic issues and low-speed axle creek. Second was mobile for the seatbelt update and squeaky gear tunnel doors. Third was the return of axle creaking and 12v batteries (got warnings but no drivability issues), and they also replaced the spare tire door seal and a piece of exterior window trim that I noted on day one as needing replaced.

My truck while delivered with 21" roads (tires lasted about 34k, rotation @ 8k) before I switched to 20" AT's cause I like to look better and I have plans for a new "All-Season" setup. I also refuse to pay $450+ for a 21" tire 5x over since I had a full size spare too, call me cheap.

The interior looks as new as day one! I keep the truck's interior clean and wipe the materials down with Mothers VLR maybe every other month unless I get it dirty between cleanings. Matte screen film FTW to avoid those finger prints and I use a duster on occasion to keep things decent.

The exterior has held up well, but I'll be the first to admit I don't wash it enough. I had the full front done in Suntek PPF, self healing with their built in ceramic coating. It's done its job well, saved the truck from a tire retread hit and overall washed up nicely. Front windows were also tinted at 30% to match the rears.

Accessories that I have either bought or was gifted/sponsored.

Pano Roof Shade - worth it

Door Bags - great for packing small items during camping trips

Matte Screen film - 100% worth it

RockyMounts Afterparty Swing away hitch bike rack - Best one out there IMO.

Dog Hammock for the back seat w/ door panel protectors - worth it if you have pups.

Quadlock iPhone mag charger, hardwired - worth it to keep phone functions since we don't get CarPlay...

Cheap foil/bubble windshield shade - 100% worth it in the summer, but I use it year round to block UV light from the interior.

Bed Mat - worth it! Keeps items from sliding around back there.

Center console organizer - tried 3 so far, all have been sub par. Each one while better than the last needs to be deeper, and maybe even split into two compartments.

In the end, I still feel the offering's by Rivian are the best bang for your buck, in both the ICE and EV space. I have driven each and every 1/2ton truck on the market several times and they are hot garbage. I have driven a couple of cars, trucks, wagons, sports cars, etc. Pound for pound the R1T/R1S are the best daily you can get in my opinion.

Happy motoring RS family, I have more driving to go do...

Thanks for the report! Can you share what Matte Screen film you are using and like?
