After finally getting his supercharger adapter from Rivian, Josh decided to put this together and it wasn't bad at all as I'm actually impressed.
He barely stuffs the center console with anything aside from a few spare charging cables and some basic paperwork so it was pretty much always just a gaping cavern.
So he figured this was a better use for it and the divider still allows cables and such to sit down there no problem.
He debated making a hinged cover but then realized that would just encourage adding a bunch of stuff on top. Which would then need to be taken out to flip the lid and pull an adapter out so he just left it open.
He angled the supercharger adapter to gain back a little extra space on the divider and to allow enough space to get a finger in there to pop the latch to pull it out.
When we spoke about it, he said he might be making a few tweaks but, he shared with me the model for printing if there is any interest. Here are photos of the print so you can see how good they look.
