Ever since I got my all-weather mats, I've been very impressed with it. Although, I ran into a potential safety problem in the first few weeks of ownership though. Posting it here, not to shed bad light on the all-weather mats, but to avoid potential accidents.
I bought the all-weather mats some weeks back and the employee helping with the delivery helped, very kindly, to install the mats. Some days back, I got on the highway after and... well... I floored the accelerator, as one does with a very powerful vehicle. The accelerator got stuck behind the mat and the car quickly accelerated unintentionally. Thankfully the break overrides the accelerator so I quickly brought the vehicle to a stop on the shoulder. We replaced the mat with the carpet one and everything was fine. Other than a moment of high stress.
So here's what happened. The Gen2, has a small bump on the floor right in front of the accelerator. The mat was correctly installed but it's not of the right size for the Gen2. The carpet mat is smaller to avoid the bump on the floor. The all-weather mat on the other hand, does not sit flush on the floor because of the bump so it's raised by an inch or two on the side of the accelerator. If one floors the accelerator, it can get stuck behind the raised portion of the mat.
For those using the all-weather floor mats for the driver side, try to be very careful so as to avoid any issues like this as it could lead to an accident. Just wanted to put this out there so others can be aware of this and be careful too.
