This is a pretty nit picky complaint, but does your ambient lighting strip diffuse well? Check out this photo (zoom in). The area below the passenger side wood trim you can see all the tiny little dots. As it curves up it is perfectly diffused though.
Is this how they all look or is something amiss with mine. I had mobile service out as my torch was stuck in the door and he said they’d have to take the whole dash apart to try and fix it, but he didn’t seem convinced it was actually an issue.
This happened 2 weeks ago, by the way, and when I reached out to the service center, they told me to bring in the vehicle for assessment. Don't know, but I’ll probably just deal with it because they wanted to put me in a Kia for weeks, as they have an official policy to continue to book appointments when they are weeks behind on their current service queue. Which I think is a ridiculous policy.
Just curious what others see with theirs. It’s very hard to photograph, best I could do here.
