I saw this pretty cool idea about adding a garage door button to the Rivian app, and I think it’s worth a shout. Our truck sits in the driveway sometimes, and when I’m popping out through the garage for a quick walk, it’d be so handy to just tap my phone to close the door. No more stretching inside the truck or fumbling with the screen—it’d make things super smooth. Picture this: you’re back from a bike ride, hands full, and instead of unlocking the truck and leaning in, you just open the Rivian app or use the control center to pop the garage door open. It’d only take a moment for the truck to wake up, and boom, you’re inside without any hassle. I’d love for Rivian to consider this little tweak—it’d be a game-changer for simple outings. Honestly, I’m not the only one who’d enjoy this, right? It’s such a small thing, but it’d save time and effort when you’re coming or going through the garage. I say let’s nudge Rivian to add this feature—maybe they could whip it up in the next update. What do you think?

The R1S, unlike the R1T, didn't come with a large trunk space, mainly because it's an SUV while the R1T is a truck. Nonetheless, it's passenger seats can be folded to create a massive room for you to pack as much cargo or gear that you can fit in if you plan on going camping or even moving to a new house. A smart move from Rivian, if you ask me, as R1S owners now don't have to worry about not having as much room as the R1T.
