Rivian 2025.06 Update Release Notes

I have previously used the streaming capability back when it first came out as well as the hotspot since before Connect+ was a thing. I am trying to get the streaming working again but it seems to have been hidden fully behind the paywall. (Not looking to argue the merits of that system here) I recall after Connect+ came out being able to still use the Hotspot while tethering with my phone, and losing it isn't a big deal other than needing to update my wife's wifi, but I think I remember needing to be on the Hotspot to do casting. My question is, did Rivian remove both of these features to fully behind the connect+ paywall? I thought that if you used phone tethering or if you were connected to WIFI you could use most all of the usual streaming like features of the Rivian? If anyone can recommend how to stream while using tethering I'm sure myself and others without Connect+ would appreciate it.

I read about the upcoming 2025.06 software update and for anyone who is yet to read about it, just know that it's coming with some pretty awesome set of features and updates!!

I'm mainly excited for the bug fixes as always, and also to try the new Enhanced Highway Assist feature.

Also great to see them improving the Sound system still, there is much room for improvement here.

Enhanced Highway Assist allows hands-free driving with Driver Attention Detection [Gen 2]

New Go Chime feature alerts you when vehicle ahead drives away [Gen 2]

Wheel and Tire Swap feature allows saving up to six configurations with accurate range estimates

New Rally drive mode added for Performance Dual-Motor vehicles

Performance Upgrade now available for purchase on eligible Dual-Motor vehicles, adding Sport, Soft Sand, and Rally modes

Auto-Tilting Side Mirrors in Reverse feature added (disabled by default)
