I have come across several people complaining about wanting an app feature that could enable owners to open and close their charge port doors.
Well goodnews for everyone cause after the .06 update, charge Port open/close functionality is now available in iOS shortcuts app.
Personally, I think it's a welcome development as this would not just make it easier for people to be able to open and close their charge port doors, but also it would help to prevent it from damage.
Let's say someone who is having a not so good day and wanted to open his port door, he might use force and at that, would end up causing damage to his charge port door. But with this newly introduced feature, he wouldn't need to do anything other than to plug in the charger.
