The Rivian Crossbars is an external accessory that can be purchased from a Rivian store and it's main purpose is to aid cargo-carrying capabilities for Rivian users. It's mostly mounted on top of the R1S or R1T but for the R1T, it can also be mounted on the trunk. The crossbars can be used perfectly with the Rivian gear guard cable to carry heavy cargo and not thinking if it'd fall off as you drive. It's an essential accessory to own especially if you're someone who packs a lot of heavy gear or cargo when going on trips. It's important to note that the crossbars don't come with newly purchased Rivian vehicles but can easily be purchased from a Rivian store and mounted for you by an expert.
