I was looking for a solution on how to reset a door window that won’t close completely. My Gen 2 R1S has had a little wind noise for a couple of days, after trying the typical solutions with the header panel gap, triangle window gap, etc I saw that the window itself was the issue. It stops about 2mm short of the upper door trim and isn’t completely rising into the top of the door frame.
I then tried to lower and raise the window holding the switch for several seconds in each direction, no change. I tried both a hard reset, while on phone with Rivian CS, AND infotainment reset to no avail.
This had me thinking if I should book a SC appointment scheduled for mid April until I came across a YouTube video online, that came up with an easy fix. The video was less than 2 mins. I followed the instructions and the fix worked well for me. So for anyone who is having a similar issue, this would be of help to you.
