Rivian R1S comes in different trims and, with such, offers different battery capacities and charging capabilities as well. There are two different battery packs, which are the Large Pack and the Max Pack. They both offer fast charging, but the Max Pack is a better battery than the Large Pack as it has a capacity of 180 kWh while the Large Pack has a capacity of 135 kWh. I use the Max Pack for my R1S, and it comes with the following capabilities, such as charging speed of up to 180 miles of range in 15 minutes, support for a charging Level 2 charging method, up to 560 miles of range, and a 25 kW charger that supports fast charging. Additionally, one impressive charging capability of the R1S is the fact that the Max battery pack can charge up to 100% in just under 2 hours with a 25 kW Level 2 charger.
One thing to note is that charging capabilities can vary with regards to charger type, battery pack, and also environmental factors as well.
