Rivian Tips: Quick Tip for a Tight Roof Rack Fit

If there’s anyone on the forum who has been having a little issue with their roof rack not locking in properly, I came up with a solution that worked perfectly. It's a simple fix too.

All you have to do is press the lever down with your thumb, grab the roof rack with both hands, and lean into it with your full body weight. That would make it click into place securely. It’s not what the manual recommends, but it worked like a charm for me.

If that doesn’t do it, I discovered you can remove the rubber feet to access some Allen screws underneath. Adjusting those screws lets you fine-tune the tightness to get it just right. It's a simple fix and I hope Rivian owners can find this helpful.
