Doesn't seem like a big issue but I noticed this yesterday and thought to share.
So I have a spare tire in the spare tire compartment. I've noticed this whenever I open the spare tire compartment lid. I open the lid and water drips from under it.
There is obviously a considerable amount of water coating the underside of the lid and it runs when I tilt it up. Without taking out the tire, which is a hassle, there is a limit to what I can find out. There doesn't seem to be water pooled in the tire well. It actually felt quite dry other than what was dripping on it.
It looks like the seal might be letting water pass through. I don't know if I can carry out a DIY drain for the channel around the lid to let water run out. I'm still looking into it and if I find a solution, I would drop a thread on it.
